Day 1/2/3 - HWANGE NATIONAL PARK: 

 

Somalisa Expeditions will be your home for the first three nights. It offers one of the most authentic ways to experience this exceptional wildlife haven.

​

This elegantly furnished tented camp is nestled away amidst an incredible grove of Acacias, along the edge of a seasonal flood plain.

 

The service and comfort provided by this gem are second to none, it is a highly regarded by both local and international travellers. Your three nights here includes all meals and local drinks and features some of the finest cuisine you will ever have the pleasure of enjoying in the bush.

The game viewing from the deck overlooking a seasonal waterhole is exceptional and you will have the opportunity to venture further into the park accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. Sightings of elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, hyena and many other wildlife species are typical and you will have many an opportunity to photograph them in all their splendour.

Day 4/5/6 - MATOBO NATIONAL PARK:

 

Big Cave Camp is your next destination and your home for the last leg of your trip with us.

​

Tucked away in the majestic Matobo Hills lies an oasis of luxury which combines the best of African architecture with the solid granite surroundings to deliver an unrivalled living experience.

​

The feeling of timelessness you experience in the Matobo Hills is accentuated by the ancient Khoisan rock art that is dotted round the locale. There is a true sense of history in every sight, sense and sound.

​

This is a place of adventure, with birding, flora, and wildlife in abundance. The opportunity to walk with rhino in the wild is definitley not to be missed!

​

At the end of a long day you will retire to the natural rock-pool and sundeck, the Leopard`s Lair lounge and bar, a cave-style boma for pre-dinner drinks or the popular lodge library that will provide excellent cuisine and memorable moments to last a lifetime.

DAY 7 : END OF ITINERARY

​

Sadly your final day has arrived and you will have a transfer to Bulawayo airport to check in for your international flight.
